Thank to this 56 HP strong engine RL reached 120 km/h, which was very good at that time. More versions were made, with different name and performance. The Touring boosted 61, the sport 71 HP. For giving a respect to the car Alfa started it on road and reliability races. The result: Alfa made its mark on the racetracks. The RL was driven by Giuseppe Campari.
