Giulia 1600 Prototipo Berlinetta ‘Vico’ (http://www.reflexedmedia.com/svs/images/alfatzprototype002.jpg) With Autodelta now in Milan (it would become the Alfa Romeo Racing Department in 1966), Negotiations began for Alfa to buy all Chiti and Chizzola’s shares in the company. Chiti happily complied, moving to Milan to become General Manager at the new Autodelta. Chizzola, however stubbornly refused to sell, causing some rancour and it was only his friend, Chiti, who eventually convinced him to sell. With the development of the TZ’s successor the TZ2 continuing at Milan Chizzola completely ignored the existence of the Alfa TZ2. Instead he continued to develop the TZ in the way that he thought it should evolve. Chizzola made a prototype 1600cc car of quite radical design. Convinced that a car should have the lowest possible moment of inertia around the centre of gravity, he made the prototype with the front mounted engine as far back towards the driver as possible. The fibreglass body had gull wings and some clever technical solutions, which allowed the front, and back of the car to be laid completely bare. The prototype, named Vico, after its inventor, due to its innovative configuration was of wide, very low and short appearance. The TZ derivative was road tested by Chizzola on his test circuit and he claimed it lost a little in terms of top speed due to the larger front section with a Cx that was not as good as that of the TZ, but the car made up for this with better and more user friendly handling. Although the car would remain a prototype and never go into production, Chizzola was very proud of the car and loved to drive it. Having been inspected by an expert from the Alfa Romeo Factory, Chizzola’s TZ evolution prototype proves to be based on a heavily modified TZ chassis. The front is similar, but lower with most tubes at different pick up points. The front suspension is from a TZ, as is the steering box, radiator and windscreen. The engine is also from a TZ with the correct sump spacer and sump. The engine itself is mounted on a lower chassis rail with original engine mounts, although these are fitted upside down. Inside the cockpit, the chassis has been heavily modified, but original TZ pedals are used, as well as some instrumentation and an original TZ steering wheel. The gear change mechanism is TZ as is the petrol tank, which have both been modified. The differential, drive shafts, rear suspension and uprights are all original TZ parts. The engine of the prototype car is of single-plug configuration and when tested recently, performance was startling. The car remained with the Chizzola’s at Udine until 2000; during this time it was seen in public only once, in 1996, at an Autodelta reunion. The car was acquired at by a known and respected collector and now, having benefited from careful storage and maintenance during his ownership, this unique Alfa Romeo prototipo is for sale once again.

The Alfa Romeo factory contacted Zat about building a car to win the SCCA National Championship. Zat proposed a racer based on the Bertone-designed Sprint Speciale. With factory blessings and support, Zat began work on this project by building four prototypes of what would later become a dominant and successful racecar line. The first four were built on Alfa Romeo SS chassis, and future SSZs were built on tube frames. Zat campaigned SSZ cars in S.C.C.A., and took home three national championships.

The Alfa Romeo Stradale P33 Pininfarina Roadster was designed by Paolo Martin and displayed at the Turin Motorshow in November 1968. The car was built on an Alfa Romeo P33 chassis and had a V8 mid-mounted engine. The second 33 Stradale-based concept car known as the P33 Roadster featured a wedge shaped design, a large overhead spoiler or aerofoil positioned just behind the cockpit and "beetle-wing" doors. The car was painted white with the interior and aerofoil in brown. It is thought the body was later removed by Pininfarina and replaced with the Cuneo design that debuted in January 1971 at the Brussels Motor Show.

Radi se o Coupe 2+2 modelu, rađenom na osnovi 8C a design potpisuje Mike Robertson, čovjek pod čijom su palicom nastali Lancia Lybra, Ypsilon i Thesis.
I Alfa priprema konceptni automobil za proslavu 100 godišnjice. Radi se o malom spyderu, a za pogon bi se trebao brinuti 1.7 tbi nabrijan na 250 ks uz stražnji pogon (kao poklon pravim alfistima). Podvozje bi po dimenzijama trebalo biti preuzeto od Alfe MiTo. S obzirom da se 8C smatra vrlo uspješnim modelom, u Alfi ozbiljno razmišljaju o serijskoj proizvodnji manje sestre koja bi bila pristupačna širem krugu kupaca (razmišlja se o seriji od 5000 komada, eventualno još 5000 u coupe izvedbi) a cijena ne bi trebala preći 50000€ .

Među ljubiteljima Alfa Romea oduvijek je postojala želja da njihova omiljena marka proizvede superautomobil legalan za cestovnu upotrebu. A upravo je takav projekt predstavljen 1997. Godine u Ženevi: koncept Scighera baziran je na Alfi 164, a za pogon se brinuo 3,0-litreni V6 motor snage 400 KS. Najviše je za oko zapeo vanjski dizajn koji je izgledao futuristično, a prilikom izrade korišteni su karbon i aluminij pa je ukupna masa iznosila tek 1450 kg. Kao i W12 Nardo, i ovaj koncept bio je zvijezda računalnih igara poput Need For Speeda-a Hot Pursuit.
"Advanced sportsmanship for Alfa Romeo" was the theme that six young student-designers of the Advance Design University Stage programme in Arese developed in 1999. It gave life to the Alfa Centauri concept, which was presented at the Bologna Motor Show. Aluminium chassis, light alloy body, 3.0 V6 24V engine, Sportyronic gearbox with steering wheel controls and all-wheel drive make up the mechanics, while the controls and steering wheel can be moved to the right or left, creating a perfectly symmetrical car. But the Alfa Centauri is also a compact and streamlined two-seater spider, which is rich in quotations of the great masterpieces of Alfa Romeo’s tradition.
In 2017 we brought two Alfa prototypes to China at the Bejing Concourse D’Elegance.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS Prototipo and the Giulia Prototipo Pre-Serie. The Giulietta went home with the Best of Show. The Giulia was driven for more than 400 km in the Great Wall Rally, passing through wonderful villages and incredible nature. Great memories!
In the early Seventies, the style of cars underwent a radical change: instead of curves drawn by the wind, sharp lines and sharp edges were sought after. This is the context in which the Alfa Romeo Alfetta Spider made its debut at the 1972 Turin Motor Show 50 years ago. Derived from the Alfetta sedan, it was created to follow up on the success of the Spider derived from the Giulia. The four-cylinder, 1800-cc engine is front-mounted with rear gearbox and traction, the design is by Pininfarina: squared lines, removable rigid roof with fixed rollbar with variable transparency, plastic bumpers with incorporated optical groups. To please the international market particularly fond of the comfort of the passenger compartment, the transaxle scheme was developed: it reduces the bulk of the mechanical parts and will become a symbol of Alfa Romeo sportiness. The interior trim is redesigned and the dashboard is equipped with new instrumentation. This prototype, which remained a one-off, belongs to the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese.

Prototip Alfa Romea 33 sada je blizu svog debija. 33 je, između ostalog, bio automobil koji je kombinirao izdašne performanse s malom obujmom i to ga je okrunilo kao Alfu za sve: također je zbližio mnoge mlade ljude i proširio strast prema Biscioneu. Alfa Romeo 10C Da, postojali su planovi oko toga u kasnim 80-ima! Na konferencijama iza pozornice posvećenim modelima 164 Procar i Protéo spomenut je projekt kupea s V10 pogonom pod nadimkom "10C", koji se odnosi na powertraing baš kao što 4C, 6C, 8C i 12C spominju broj cilindara koje imaju njihovi motori. Lansiranje modela 164 donijelo je lijepe proizvode u Biscione, a tijekom 80-ih snažni sportski automobili i superautomobili bili su vrlo traženi, pa se Fiat odlučio pridružiti zabavi putem Alfa Romea. Tako je započeo projekt "10C". Razvit bi se novi 4-litreni V10 od 72°, nepovezan s 3.5-litrenim V10 koji se nalazi na 164 ProCar, a koji bi proizvodio 340 KS u ranoj fazi istraživanja i razvoja, tako da je ta brojka lako mogla doseći 380-400 KS pri kraju svog životnog ciklusa. Sjetite se da je originalni Viper napravio 400 konja od dvostruke istisnine. 10C bi također bio AWD i ove specifikacije su bile planirane, kao što je prevedeno s druge slike: - 1450 kg težine - Raspodjela težine 55/45 (teža prednja strana) - središte težine na 480 mm - Međuosovinski razmak 2550 mm - Aerodinamički koeficijent 0,31Cx - Prednje gume 245/45/17 - Stražnje gume 255/40/17 - 2,5 atm tlak u gumama sprijeda i straga - Maksimalna snaga od 320 KS pri 7000 o/min - 36 kgm (353 Nm) pri 5000 o/min - 6-stupanjski ručni Inženjeri su dovršili dizajn šasije i ovjesa i trebali su započeti s izradom karoserije kada je projekt otkazan zbog ekonomske recesije i male potražnje za takvim automobilom.
Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto (938) Oko 2007. godine, Alfa Romeo je razmatrao novi Spider temeljen na GM-ovoj platformi Kappa, referirajući se na klasični Duetto (1966.–1993.). Centro Stile odabrao je dizajn Zbigniewa Maurera, ali je na kraju prešao na Pininfarinin koncept 2uettottanta (2010.), koji je također napušten. Kasnije je planiran novi Spider u suradnji s Mazdom
